Oversee the maintenance and management of Kenwood Park grounds, including Ag Hall, 4-H Building, Kenwood Hall, and livestock barns; coordinate event scheduling and provide logistical support for the Tri-Rivers Fair
Approximately 32 years ago, a gentleman by the name of Oliver Hagg willed to Saline County 1,100 acres of farm ground.In his will, Mr. Hagg stated that it was his wish that the land be used for conservation and education. Numerous projects have been done on the farm over the years, but one of the most important of these was in 2001 when Saline County established the Oliver Hagg Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year, a renewable $1,000 Scholarship is awarded to a Saline County High School Senior.The criteria for this scholarship are community involvement, strong school work ethics, and the applicant’s desire to continue his/her post-secondary education in the field of agriculture. Since the first scholarships were awarded in In the fall of 2002, forty-seven Saline County students have received the Hagg Scholarship.

Before entering into possession under the terms and provisions of the rental agreement, the Renter shall provide current certificates of insurance designating Saline County and its officers, agents, and employees as insureds under the aforesaid policies for the term of this rental agreement. In addition, if alcohol is allowed as part of Renter’s event, the Renter shall provide written verification from Renter’s insurance carrier that said carrier acknowledges that alcohol will be allowed as part of the event and that Renter’s insurance will cover any and all claims arising out of or related to the utilization of the premises by Renter.
