Following the successful completion of our new jail facility and Sheriff’s offices, as well as renovations to the Livestock & Expo Center, Saline County is working to plan for the future of other county buildings and grounds. These include reuse of the old jail facility as well as examination of other buildings in the downtown core such as the Health Department. The City of Salina has agreed to work cooperatively with the County to examine city facilities as well, building on our longstanding partnership in the City/County Building property at 300 West Ash.
